Pictures: Click here to view photo gallery General: First press A1/B1 copy in the rare 'Puppet' sleeve, in superb condition and complete of course with its original 'Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous' inner sleeve.
The 'Puppet' sleeve, features the dolls of Hendrix, Brian Jones, John Peel and Bob Dylan, made by Saskia de Boer, and was withdrawn following Hendrix' premature death in September 1970. At 27, de Boer was the same age as Hendrix and was well known within the Pop Art movement of the 1960's. Her work also continues to be highly collectable. Audio quality: Unless otherwise stated below the audio quality of records I sell will always be at least excellent. Grading (vinyl): EX+ (the vinyl is in stunning overall mint- condition but there is a tiny hairline which clicks for about five revolutions in the quiet part of 'Who Knows') Grading (labels): Mint- (one or two very light spindle marks) Grading (outer sleeve): EX (light creasing, light edge and corner wear) Grading (inner sleeve): EX+ (very light creasing) Summary: A very nice first press copy.
The photos are of the actual item(s) for sale. All flaws, if any, are fully described above and gradings are strictly as per the RC Price Guide (+ and - are used to highlight strengths and weaknesses). I do not knowingly sell records that either jump or are warped unless these faults are described in detail above.
