John Lennon Sings The Great Rock & Roll Hits: Roots, Adam VIII 8018.
Originally released in 1975 for TV mail order sales.   Adam VIII was subsequently sued by Apple and John Lennon and production was halted.

Record is Near Mint with NO scratches of ANY kind.  Bright clean labels.  Cover is VG++ with light signs of wear.  No ringwear, writing, split seams, or corner crunches.  Light crease upper left hand corner.

This album has been reproduced numerous times over the years.  I bought this in the late 70s, so if it is a reproduction, it is an early one and thus still pretty rare.  I cannot guarantee this is an original 1st pressing.  All I can do is describe the characteristics of the LP and cover.  If you have more information or questions. please ask before bidding.

It passes such "validity tests"  as:  1.   The word "GREAT" is in the title, NOT "GREATEST" both on the cover and the spine print.  2.  Cover is constructed of posterboard, NOT paper slicks pasted on cardboard.  3.  "A-8018-A" and "A-8018-B"  are hand etched in the trail off area.  4. Label is orange in color, not reddish  orange.
