JOHN LENNON Sings the Great Rock & Roll Hits Roots LP. Original Real Version. UPDATE: MY APOLOGIES!!!!!


Due to the greatly appreciated questions I received from an ebay buyer, I must revise this listing as a suspected counterfeit. I inherited this LP from my oldest brother who I believed obtained it during the late 1970s. The potential buyers questions caused me to do some more research into its true validly. Based on the info below I just discovered on Discogs website (I Wish I knew to have looked here 1st before posting it), I now have reason to believe that this one is a  very good counterfeit due to step number 9 referenced in the link below. It has the step # 8  "Bell Sound" stamped  along with the A 8018 A and A 8018 B etched in the wax  but, I am disappointed to find that this copy does not have the matrix number of A 8018 pressed into the Side 1 Label. According to their site no counterfeits have this feature:
