AND IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT WITH NOTHING TO FAULT
PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL
THE LP HAS THE SECOND ISSUE RED *MONO* UN-BOXED DECCA LABELS WHICH HAVE NO GROOVE
(in the summer of 1969 Decca refitted their New Malden pressing plant with new machinery which no longer produced a groove on the labels)

Eric Clapton is usually thought of as John Mayall's most important right-hand man, but the case could also be made for his successor, Peter Green.
The future Fleetwood Mac founder leaves a strong stamp on his only album with the Bluesbreakers, singing a few tracks and writing a couple, including the stunning instrumental "Supernatural" - Green's use of thick sustain on this track clearly pointed the way to his use of this feature on Fleetwood Mac's hits "Albatross" and "Black Magic Woman," as well as providing a blueprint for Carlos Santana's style.
Highlights include the uncharacteristically rambunctious "Leaping Christine" and the cover of Freddie King's "Someday After a While (You'll Be Sorry)"

Clean, bright, unmarked and factory-fresh labels with barely a spindle trace to be seen

The surfaces shine like new with only a couple of light marks - these have no audio impact

Outstanding audio reproduction throughout - crystal clear, beautifully deep, rich, warm and vibrant sound with a fantastic MONO cut.
My careful play-check at loud volume revealed no audio issues of note at all - no scratches, no clicks/pops and no surface noise - the run-ins and track divisions are silent and it plays beautifully throughout - a superb copy which could probably be graded as MINT
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT+
Good and solid with very little wear - just some light ring marks to the unlaminated back.
The laminated front has a deep glossy sheen with only a little rubbing (nothing major) - a fine example
