Up for grabs is this limited edition colour in colour vinyl album by the fantastic Johnny Thunders.
The one and only Johnny Thunders a voice of our generation and incredible song writer, Johnny penned hundreds of great songs whether with the New York Dolls, The Heartbreakers or solo he was prolific in fact I would go as far as to say the man was a creative genius.
This classic album featuring a storming live set from the Heartbreakers at the speakeasy must have been a fantastic night, the atmosphere generated really summed up the attitude of the Heartbreakers and the grubby spirit of 70's New York, with backup from Walter Lure, Billy Rath and fellow New York Doll Jerry Nolan it had no option other than being one of those Punk gigs about town that everyone now wishes they had been there to witness.
The songs performed that night are tight and delivered with the usual Thunders swagger each one a classic in it's own right, Born to lose, All by myself, Going Steady, Let go and of course Chinese Rocks the ultimate kamikaze rocker that's been covered by everyone from The Ramones to Sid Vicious, now expanded to include both sets recorded on the night.
Grab this while you can it's a treat for any big Thunders fan / collector, Sealed and new - photos of the actual vinyl are stock images as this is sealed but will give you an idea of the treat inside.
