Here I have a copy of
Joy Division
'Closer'
on rare original UK 1st 'ruby red' pressing LP in textured picture sleeve with textured round cornered inner sleeve and paper labels
(this is the rare UK 1st pressing on translucent vinyl which shines through reddish / purple when up against a strong light but looks black when no light is shone through)
the etched matrices are FACT 25 A1 OLD BLUE? & FACT 25 B-1
released on Factory Records FACT XXV FAC25 in 1980
The condition of the record is excellent.
The outer sleeve has mild signs of storage & some foxing / spotting on the edges & bottom left corner.
The inner sleeve has very mild creasing.
The labels are clean with no spindle marks, the B side label has a couple of split creases from the manufacturing process on the spindle hole going outwards.
A lovely example of this Joy Division ‘ruby red’ translucent UK 1st pressing of 'Closer'!
