Description
JOY DIVISION Unknown Pleasures 1st Press FACT 10
The original textured cover (made & printed by Garrod & Lofthouse) Only the inner sleeves have rounded corners on the 1st 1979 issues. This is the original sought-after & iconic UK release of this legendary and absolutely superb LP from 1979.
The vinyl has hardly any visible marking and plays back really nicely without much surface noise or crackles and it still has a good gloss. This is a good copy in really nice condtion. The labels are clean & bright, with little evidence of the record having been played that much. The record is in VG++ if not then probably better condition, with superb audio.
The textured cover (made & printed by Garrod & Lofthouse) is in good all round condition, considering it's over thirty years old, the extreme edges of the outer cover are a bit worn with storage age (see end pictures to show this), there is the odd speckle of ink loss but looking at the front & back of the outer cover generally, this does not distract from the cover being in all round good condition considering it's age & type.
The inner sleeve has the original rounded corners only found on 1st press release, one side of the inner sleeve has slipped where the glue has not held together, otherwise the inner sleeve is in good condition visually.
