JUICY LUCY, LIE BACK AND ENJOY IT, UK VERTIGO SPIRAL LP

Juicy Lucy – Lie Back and Enjoy It Juicy Lucy are a blues-rock band who formed in 1969. After the demise of garage band “The Misunderstood”, vocalist Ray Owen, steel guitarist Glenn Ross Campbell and saxophone player Chris Mercer formed Juicy Lucy. The group later recruited guitarist Neil Hubbard, bassist Keith Ellis, and drummer Pete Dobson. The band immediately notched a UK Top 20 hit with their cover version of Bo Diddley ’s “Who Do You Love?”. This is their second album released in 1970. There were a few line-up changes from their debut as ex-Zoot Money singer Paul Williams, guitarist Micky Moody and drummer Rod Coombes; replaced Ray Owen (who exited for a solo career), Neil Hubbard and Pete Dobson.
This is the original UK first pressing from 1970 on the Vertigo swirl label.
Side One: Thinking Of My Life; Built For Comfort; Pretty Woman; Whiskey In My Jar.
Side Two: Hello L.A. Bye Bye Birmingham; Changed My Mind; That Woman’s Got Something; Willie The Pimp; Lie Back And Enjoy It.

The album is on Vertigo Records, 6360 014. Matrix side one: 6360014 1Y//1 420 1 1 2 (stamped). Matrix side two: 6360014 2Y//2 420 1 1 1 (stamped).
Released in 1970. UK pressing. Stereo.
Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under strong light)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (a few light superficial marks can be seen that do not affect the audio in any way, plays like new).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (a few light superficial marks can be seen that do not affect the audio in any way, plays like new).
Cover (unlaminated, foldout poster): excellent (this is the best “Lie Back And Enjoy It” cover I have ever seen, a doubt you will find better, has two slightly bashed corners and a tiny bit of damage (not a tear or split) that you can see on the top to the right of the front cover on the outer poster picture, that apart looks prfect - see photos).
The record plays great with no jumps, skips or clicks and minimal crackle.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
