Description

This obscenely rare album by the American group Jungle was originally released (if that is the correct word, more like only a test press) in 1969 in a plain sleeve in less than miniscule numbers and is more than impossible to find. Here is what Fuzz Acid & Flowers has to say about it: “Nothing is known about this excellent late sixties album's makers. A reissue is now available, so you can hear how good it is for yourself! Early Morning Rising, Slave Ship, House Of Rooms and Gray Picnic are all loaded with nice guitar and organ, even frantic (if somewhat inept) drumming on occasion. The tracks have an atmospheric, open quality and the recording is superb. This is a lost gem.” An original copy would definitely sell in the thousands of dollars if you were to find one.

This edition is a very limited edition of 400 copies. Released in 1996, and sold out immediately on release, on the highly acclaimed Little Indians label from Germany (later to become Shadoks), known for the high production quality of its releases. This comes on heavy (200 gram) vinyl and housed in a massively thick and beautiful silver embossed blue velvet cover. This copy is opened but unplayed and it still has the shrink around the cover. Mint copy!
