This is a completely original Issue LP. It is the first solo artist recording, by the so called: 'first lady of folk', Shirley Collins. 'Sweet England’ is a collection of love songs and ballads from southern England, some with no accompaniment, others with banjo or guitar. This is a very rare survivor, purchased new in 1959 and has hardly (if ever) been used.
For condition please see pictures. The bright areas in the pictures of both record and sleeve are reflections of light, not damage! The corners of the sleeve have minimal wear and there are no slits along the sides of the sleeve. There is a small notch out of the sleeve in picture 6.
