In 1990 Rhino Records issued this set of essential Beat era recordings that comprise

the whole of Kerouac's official recording output, along with out-takes.  

Please see the close-up image we've provided to read the contents of the recordings themselves; 

you'll see it's as definitive a reissue of these materials as collectors could have hoped for. 

Many have rightly noted that Jack is quite the compelling narrator of his own works on these

recordings, unlike some authors who recite in a style that doesn't quite bring out the best.

Don't forget Al Cohn and Zoot Sims joining in on one of the records.

It's been stated and rumored that no more than 2000 of these sets were produced in the

LP record format (which rings true, given the era of release; the CD was the newly-anointed

king at the time).  

Consequently (and no doubt because of the inherently more "satisfying" aesthetic qualities

of full-size records inside full-size covers...as opposed to digital drink coasters, or -- gasp -- 

the blandness of cassette tapes), these LP sets are in demand, and factory sealed ones are the rarest around.

box set is factory-sealed, never opened). NOT a "re-seal".

The records and booklet are housed in a MINT condition box   NO cut-out marks, 

NO seam splits or spine wear; NO former owner marks. 

>> NOTE THAT there is a small tear in the shrink wrap at ONE corner of the box, and that

the small exposed area of the box corner IS NOT damaged.   Please see the images we've provided.
