Description
This is Frank's only LP, now a very hard to find item. It was produced by Paul Simon while he and Jackson C. Frank shared a home in London In 1965. The LP also marked the first appearance on record of Al Stewart who supplied second guitar on the superb 'Yellow Walls'. Bert Jansch, John Renbourne, and Simon and Garfunkel would all record versions of his songs. The opening track 'Blues Run the Game' is now included in 'The Essential Simon and Garfunkel' CD with no credit to Frank whatsoever.
My copy, which I have owned for nearly forty years is in very good condition showing no noticeable deterioration in sound quality despite some static. There are no jumps or clicks. There is normal wear and tear on the cover associated with forty years of careful ownership and use. There is no writing on front or back cover.
