Description
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
(Island ILPS 9145 UK LP 1971)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a fully textured gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original lyric inner sleeve which is printed on paper.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1U/ B-3U matrix stampers. The Chrysalis labels have the white "i" Island logo on them. A genuine UK 1st pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the top & bottom edges. The front of the gatefold sleeve has curved slightly so the sleeve doesn't lie completely flat. VG condition.
Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. there are some mild pressing marks too. VG condition. The labels are in very nice condition and show mild spindle wear. Plays VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light to mild crackle in a some quieter places. The inner sleeve has a 6.5" seam split along the bottom. It has a 3", & 2", split at either side. It is in VG condition.
I shall place the vinyl in a separate paper inner sleeve to protect the actual inner sleeve during transit.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
