Description
An original 1970 Pink Island UK Press. Matrix A2/B2. The super heavy weight vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the gimmick stand up band image fully working in the interior.
Vinyl (Ex+) Absolutely stunning condition and has clearly only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of ultra-light marks, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Silent intros and inbetweens. The audio comes across with top-level clarity and minimal interference. In fact we could barely make out anything - certainly nothing more than a couple of crackles [literally] all the way through. The audio quality is stunning - just listen to those quiet percussive sections which are perfectly resolved. And importantly no background to interfere with it...
Cover (Ex) Superb shape and has clearly been looked after. The front is perfectly preserved and that notoriously fussy rear is not looking too bad either! There's some very slight edge wear - text on the spine is mostly visible. The interior is immaculate, but for the previous owners autograph in 1970! The cover retains excellent rigidity and does not feel anywhere near its 47 years of age.
