Description

An original 3rd press of 'Stand Up' on the UK Island label. Matrix A2/B2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gimmick cover with 'pop-up' band!
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. This is a very acoustic driven album and you need an early clean copy to do it any sort of justice. Thankfully this copy is preserved very well indeed and it shows in the audio. Interference is both minimal and infrequent. All we could detect was a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. An impressive player and superb value...
Cover (Vg+) Has been well cared for down the years, but showing a bit of ageing/wear on the spine now. Nice clean front with no major issues. The interior is in excellent condition and the pop-up is in full working order. There is a bit of ageing in a few spots on the rear - but not too bad. The only area where there's really noticeable wear is the spine. All the text has worn off, but it has not worn through at any point. Overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
