Lucky Records #1001

Danville Illinois native Jim Foley released this extremely rare Rockabilly 45 only once in the U.S. in 1960 on Lucky Records #1001, pressed out of Peoria Illinois with stamped matrix number L8 OW - 5798 - 1D. Truly only a handfull of these slabs still exist, most have already been placed in major collections worldwide. This nearly impossible to find 45 features clean deep red or maroon labels with nice silver print. The labels do have very light scuff around the perimeter and crest but with no obscured print. This vinyl is in Excellent condition, a super nice satin gloss with no heavy scratches or scuffs. The sounds are superb, a very very light surface noise with no clicks, ticks or sticks on either side! This record is considered to be one of the rarest Rockabilly singles to ever be recorded by anyone at anytime and this pressing would be a very sweet addition to just about anybody's collection! For those collectors who would like to hear a bit of each side, I'll be more than happy to send an e-mail to you with an audio attachment or you can call me and hear it over the phone but either way please don't miss out on this true Rockabilly rarity. Just to pass on a bit of Rockabilly history here, Danville, Illinois native son Arlie Miller also produced and plays lead guitar on this gem as well.
