Description

If anyone can add info on this, please contact me. This came from a publishiing company that was throwing it away. It is a 2 sided Apple acetate by a artist unknown to me by the name of Jim Frank,it is a work in progress and the notes on the original sleeve give it away.

It says More songs, which leads me to beieve that he was demoing tracks, but it has a full band with a 69-71 sound. He sounds American, but could be wrong. Sisde two's notes are smeared, side one reads"

1. You Ain't Got What It Takes 2. Swamp Girl 3. Come On Down (Old Vocal) 4. Losing My Mind Again 5. Sally Brown 6. Shadow Valley

Some tracks have checks, giving the impression they are liked.

It is a acetate in VG condition, quite the odd item!

Thank you goes to namralos for the added details!!! Jim Frank was a drummer whose public career began in 1973. After playing as a session musician (with Gravy Train and others), Jim Frank became a regular member of Ronnie Lane's "Slim Chance". He soon joined Noosha Fox's group, "Fox." He continued to do session work during the late 70's, becoming a sound engineer (and working with artists like Peter Gabriel). It seems possible that Jim Frank auditioned for Apple c. 1971 or 1972 before starting his career.
