Description
On offer here is a copy of the very rare UK original first pressing of Jimi Hendrix legendary debut album, "Are You Experienced" (1967). Track 612 001. Mono.
Record: VG-
Plenty of thin hairlines and scuffs. However there are no deep scratches or other deep surface marks. The record has a lot of thin and whispy hairlines, and I have tried to the best of my ability to convey this in my photos. There are certainly NO sticks or jumps. The record tracks without any problems, and it plays better than it looks. Crackle and pops, but still quite enjoyable. This is an album constantly in huge demand, and considering today's astronomical prices for a mint copy, this is a chance to obtain an original first press mono copy for a more moderate sum.
The labels have numerous light spindle marks, but are otherwise clean. No writing or stickers.

Laminted front sleeve, printed by Ernest J. Day & Co. Many laminate creasings, tape and tape residuals, sticker on front sleeve corner. Seam split all along the spine. No writings.
Grading
Records are graded very conservatively, and visual inspections are done under a strong halogen lamp. I follow the Record Collector grading system.

Shipping cost for Tracked postage: Europe 16 GBP. Rest of the world 17 GBP.
I pack using professional mailers and stiffeners. I will remove the record from the outer sleeve to avoid seam splits.
Record cleaning and playing
All my records are carefully cleaned using a professional VPI 16.5 record vacuum cleaning machine for superior sound and vinyl preservation. After cleaning the record is put in a brand new lined inner sleeve. Of course, the original inner sleeve is included if existing.
The amount of surface noise, crackle etc. of course depends on the condition of the record, but also the kind of equipment used. This record has been graded using an extremely revealing top quality high end system. Turntable: Brinkmann Balance. Tonearm: Thales Simplicity. Cartridge: Dynavector XX2 Mk II, tracking at 1.9 grams.
