Description
This is the second of 2 albums i am selling for a friend. All the description is my observation and please note i am not a record dealer. If in doubt, please ask.
It is an original mono record in a laminated gatefold sleeve on the Track Record label. It also includes the folded lyric insert sheet.
Condition wise, the front has a few light indents and minor creasing along the bottom and 2 sides. The laminate has no tears or rips and is not coming away anywhere. The edges have some wear, which is fair, given the age of the record. The inner gatefold picture is undamaged and has almost no signs of rubbing wear. Nowhere is the picture faded or rubbed through. There is slight creasing where the laminate sleeve folds over. The back of the album also has a few slight creases and once again the laminate is intact. Front and back are nice and reflective.
The album itself looks in excellent condition, only 3 or 4 slight wear marks can be seen. There are no scratches i can see. The run in and run off area's are in very good condition. The record has that shiny look of an almost new album. The centre paper is in very good condition on both sides. No tears or rubbing and clearly shows the 612 003 moniker indicating a mono pressing with copyright 1967. The paper inner is a plain white paper one and is unmarked. I cannot vouch it is the original inner sleeve, so take note!!!
The run off area has these marks on them. Side 1 - 612003 A (inverted triangle) 1 followed by 12. Side 2 - 612003 B (inverted triangle) 1 followed by 12 or 17, it's too faint for me to see.
I played the record on my own system (Rega P3/Goldring 1000 cartridge, Quad amps and Wharfedale speakers). There is some quiet surface noise on the run in and between tracks but each track played very clearly. Ther were only 2 "pops" on the whole album, and no jumps. For those who know, playing mono on stereo always increases surface noise, so if you have a dedicated mono system, surface noise will diminish.
The orange coloured lyric sheet, other than signs of being handled has no creases, but has a 2mm tear at the top edge of the fold. It is complete, i took 2 pictures to see both halves. No-one has written on it or marked it in any way.

On 24-May-12 at 21:49:23 BST, seller added the following information: Those watching this listing, please note. Upon further inspection to answer a qustion (see post), i found a 2mm tear on the inserts fold. I have amended the description now.
