Description
This is Capitol Records STAO-472, Jimi Hendrix Band Of Gypsys, a green label, original stereo issue of this classic live record from 1970, with Sterling KL stamped on both sides of the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear.It plays quietly throughout. I'm pretty certain it had never been played or been played only once before I play graded it. The original gate-fold cover has a small amount of edge wear, but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. Some contemporaneous articles and reviews collected by the original owner are included. This is a superb, archive, collector's grade copy of this beautiful original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders.
