Here for auction: Jimi Hendrix Experience "Electric Ladyland". Track 613 008/009. UK stereo original with white (not blue) text. Fully laminated gatefold cover.Comes complete with original inner sleeves.
THIS RECORD HAS BEEN RE-LISTED DUE TO E-BAY REMOVING THE LISTING.THEY DID THIS BECAUSE THE COVER HAD PHOTOS OF NAKED LADIES AND THAT CONTRAVENED THEIR POLICY.THE PICTURES SHOWED A LOVELY CONDITON COVER.NOW YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO TAKE MY WORD FOR THAT.SORRY.

I have checked parts of each side of the two discs for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in very decent EX condition.Both discs still have a lovely shine.They look clear of any marks, even when viewed up close, except for side 2 which has two marks one of which you can feel.The other three sides are fine and problem free.There are no kinks or warps and discs lie flat on the turntable.
Sound is beautifully clear and undistorted with no repetetive tics in the parts played,except on side 2 which has the marks which i will try to describe.First little mark is on last part of track 3 "Come On" and first part of track 4 "Gypsy Eyes".This mark does not sound that much (and music is loud) and can only be heard for a few tics near end of track 3 and then a few more on track 4.So not really too bad.The one that gives the problem starts just under 2/3 rds of the way through "Gypsy Eyes".It gives tics for 45 revs.Tics get louder and become quite loud, but there are no jumps or sticking.By the end of the track the tics are gone.Disc's play with a lovely pretty much silent background and very minimal crackle.
To sum up the vinyl.Although it has a flaw with that sounding mark,most of the vinyl is actually really nice and would grade EX+.The records do sound great actually.
Cover is in very nice EX+ condition.Looks great. Not much wrong at all.Just minor general wear.No label's or handwriting.
Label's EX Could not see too many spindle marks, and there are no other marks or blemishes at all.Decent condition.
Original poly-lined inner sleeves are EX
