Description

An original 1st pressing of 'Bold As Love' on the UK Track label from 1967. Matrix A1/B1. Super heavy weight. The vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover. There's no lyric sheet. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex-/Ex) In great shape and, for a super collectable, in way better than average condition. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. This is most certainly a lower mileage, and better preserved copy, than most. Yes, in a few sections there's a touch of light static [e.g. spoken word intro], but by and large this is a very nice rendition. The mono original copies are world renowned for being the best cut - period. And I can vouch for this - the audio is sublime. I can't imagine that even Track reissues from a couple of years later getting anywhere close to this.
Cover (Vg) In nice shape and those colourful images on the front and rear still look great. There's no heavy creasing and the colours are as bold as the day they were printed. What marks this cover down is the corners - they are heavily worn so please be aware of this. Thankfully this is really the only noticeable deterioration. And the integrity of the image and the cover still stands the test of time. The interior is in nice condition too - no writing or nasty marks. The spine is intact just wear at either end. Overall the cover retains much of its original integrity and is a beautiful specimen.
