Description
Title: Barnstorm
Artist: Joe Walsh
Catalog: Japan MCA VIM-4051 Black Rainbow Label Re-issue 1980. Pressed by Victor Musical Industries, Tokyo Japan.
Jacket: VG+ due to a punch hole in the upper left corner and writing on the inside inner opening lip of the single sleeve jacket. This issue is a single sleeve jacket, not an open gatefold. OBI is intact (with punch hole) as is the included Japanese insert. (See photos)
LP: Beautiful near mint visually and play graded. This LP plays dead quiet (with Line Contact stylus) and is a beautiful pressing. It is near impossible to find a US original that plays quiet.
Notes: Joe’s departure from the James Gang yielded this fantastic album, just prior to the Rocky Mountain Way hit. Contains more laid back pieces, lots of acoustic guitar, although Joe rocks out on the opening track, the coda to Mother Says and the heaviest song on the album, the original arrangement of Turn To Stone.
