Description

  • Near mint vinyl on this private label gatefold original (NOT A REISSUE) 2 LP from John (Johnny) Heartsman and Circles "Music Of My Heart" (VC-4508).
  • These tracks were recorded live in 1976 at Basin Street West in Sacramento California and the "Sickle Cell" Jazz Concert in Modesto California.
  • This private pressing has no record company name on the label just a drawing of the performers, a catalog number and the tracklist for that side.
  • The multi-talented blues musician (guitar, flute, organ) is called John Heartsman on this album and is accompanied by Circles (J.J. Funderburk-drums & vocals and Janice Lavon-tambourine & vocals) and some session musicians.
  • The tracklist is: The Thrill Is Gone/A Day In The Life Of A Fool/Every Day I Have The Blues/Talking About My Baby/You Are The Music Of My Heart/Who Do You Love/Silky Pete/Mr. Magic/Ontario Serenade/The Road To Nowhere/Up From Down/Dream A Dream/If We Can’t Be Lovers (Can’t We Be Friends)/Silky Pete/Summer.
  • The 2 glossy LPs look and play near mint with just some light occasional surface noise. Please look at all the attached pictures. As you can see, the gatefold cover has incurred severe water damage which is a shame because the two LPs are in such great condition and have not at all been affected by the water damage. Most of the graphics and printing are readable but the overall condition of the cover is poor. This may be an ideal situation for someone who has a near mint cover and needs higher grade records, or someone who frankly does not care about the condition of the cover.
