Description
For sale is a beautifully autographed 'Twist and Shout' EP by co-founder of The Beatles John Lennon.
The autograph is in bold red pen and the word 'love' and two kisses have been added.
The signature dates from autumn of 1963 and is in Very Good condition.
The EP cover is rated as Very Good minus with some aging discolouration, slight tearing to lip of back sleeve, and creases to front (please see pics for more information).
The EP itself is a 1N/1N first pressing with K(T) taxcode, 'parlophone rim' and no 'sold in the UK' text. It is in Fair condition with obvious signs of wear. Please note that this record has not been playtested and lack of pops, skips, and sticks can not be guaranteed.
This has been pride of my collection since it was originally purchased from Ebay by myself in the mid 2000s. On the original listing it was stated that the signature was obtained by a fan who waited for the band at the backstage exit after a gig in mid/late 1963.
