Description

The Beatles:Twist and Shout - Parlophone Microgroove Test Pressing

An ultra rare, single-sided UK 1960s Parlophone microgroove 7" test record of The Beatles. It features the standard "Parlophone microgroove test record not for sale" label on either side, printed in black on a white label, reads "This record may not be placed on sale until sanctioned by Copyright Department, nor publicly performed .Title .Artiste .Remarks". The test pressing is for the first side of the Twist and Shout E. P. – the first Beatles EP. It contains the tracks Twist And Shout and A Taste Of Honey. THE MATRIX ID "7 TCE 762-2N" is stamped into the run-out groove for Side 1.. The letters KT have been embossed onto the run-out groove near the 9 o’clock position.

This is the real deal. Not a fake.

The record and labels are in VG condition. It comes with an appropriate time-period Parlophone company sleeve.

I let go a similar test pressing many years ago to a well-known UK dealer who, in turn, resold that Twist and Shout test press for approx $1800.

Free shipping within the USA.

International shipping at fixed $15.00 (this actually much less than my actual cost). Wait for the invoice before paying.
