Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a First Pressing of legendary jazz producer Bob Thiele's Flying Dutchman Records White Label Promotional copy of the original 1970 release.
- Liner notes by Nat Hentoff.
- This copy has never been played.
- 'Promotional Copy' is printed on the label. As a small jazz label Flying Dutchman may not have pressed more than 50-100 White Label Proms of this title.
- The laminated gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows no wear.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new in his record store in 1970. It has been in storage for 53 years.
