Joy Division + Buzzcocks Signed paper 1979 + Original Closer LP Vinyl 1980
*Note...I have added clearer photos of signatures due to being requested on numerous occasions. Apologies for first effort.
I've inherited a collection of Vinyl, CDs and Autographs. Some Vinyl and CDs are signed.
Each have a note saying where the signatures were obtained from.
Whilst going through the collection I found this signed A4 paper inside the Closer Album.
Signed by Joy Division and Buzzcocks in 1979 at Bristol Colston Hall. These would have been signed prior to the release of the Closer Album. Looks to be signed in pencil. Both paper and Album have ' yellowed' slightly over time.
I remember my friend going to watch this gig to see the Buzzcocks. We used to go to gigs together. I didn't go to this gig with him as I wasn't into the Buzzcocks and at the time really didn't know much about Joy Division. I was getting into OMD instead. I remember him raving about how good Joy Division were rather than the Buzzcocks. However...I still never got into either band.
Hopefully these will go to a good home and be appreciated by a fan rather than just collecting dust.
