Very COLLECTIBLE -- you won't see many of these! RARE limited edition audiophile LP pressing - KATE BUSH - The Kick Inside - 1997 / 1978 EMI Records Ltd. England - LPCENT 5 / 7243 8 55667 1 4. From the 1997 EMI 100 series celebrating "The First Centenary" -- the first 100 years of the recording medium. The EMI 100 series featured classic LP's, original packaging, virgin vinyl 180 gram pressings and heavy quality sleeves (jackets/covers). This series includes celebrated albums by recording artists such as Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Roxy Music, Kate Bush, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and several others. This album, "The Kick Inside," was originally released in 1978 (recorded in parts of 1975 and 1977), and is the debut album by Kate Bush. You likely know this already, but Kate is one of the most celebrated recording artists of the last 35 years, not only in her native England, but around the world. You might already know these songs by heart, but for the uninitiated, here are the song tracks: "Moving," "Saxophone Song," "Strange Phenomena," "Kite," "The Man With the Child in His Eyes," "Wuthering Heights," "James and the Cold Gun," "Feel It," "L'Amour Looks Something Like You," "Them Heavy People," "Room For the Life" and "The Kick Inside." Vinyl is Near Mint ...played no more than three times (and then stored) ...180 gram LP plays beautifully and sounds excellent! Includes original protective inner sleeve. Laminated jacket/cover is also Near Mint ...nice, glossy finish, with original UK edition front cover artwork and all song lyrics (located on the back). EMI 100 sticker near the upper left-hand corner of front (see photos). Enclosed in protective poly outer sleeve. Stored in a non-smoking environment.
