Up for bids is a rare original Mono Jazz LP by the Kenny Dorham called "Jazz Contrasts" on Riverside Records. RLP 12-239. 1957.
Featuring Sonny Rollins.
ORIGINAL 1957 1ST PRESSING ON THE WHITE RIVERSIDE LABELS!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Front of cover is laminated.
Record's edges are raised.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Cover has a slight curve to it. Front and back have some minor wear (mainly on the back). Top-center has a 3 1/2" split. Spine is completely intact with some checking.
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG+. Has some minor marks that don't greatly affect play. There are a couple of deep scratches but they are not too sonically noticeable. Record sounds fantastic on my player!
