Description
Check out the beauties I have already added to my ebay store from my 45 year collection of original modern jazz LPs. More coming all month.
1958 pressed Lovely low plays example of this great album, confirmed by the printers date shown in the pics, as well as the pancake deep groove to the outer rim of the labels, the 200 gramme vinyl and the curved cut fully laminated flip back sleeve which is a 50s trait of Decca Lps. KENNY DORHAM & SONNY ROLLINS Jazz Contrasts London UK 1958 RARE Clean ORIGINAL. The wonderful Oscar Pettiford and Max Roach in the bass and drum chairs, Hank Jones Piano, plus a harp guest in Betty Glamman, who was incidentally born 100 years ago in May. Once again near perfect session, Sonny had an incredible ending to the 1950s. Probably recorded by RVG by the look of things. Hard to beat that warm yet precise Decca valve signal path pressing sound of these, the virgin vinyl & its recipe is way superior to that used by Riverside and Prestige back then. If you have a mono cart, treat yourself to this, probably the best pressing ever made of it.
Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.price rating
