Description
This is the first pressing of 'KENNY DREW TRIO' by Kenny Drew, with Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones on Riverside Records RLP 12-224. This is an original issue from Riverside Records, issued in 1956, NOT a reissue version. It is a flat edge disc with white labels and deep groove on both labels. This album is IMPOSSIBLY RARE!! This album grades at a VG+. The album has a few light scratches and retains most of its beautiful glossy shine. There are no skips or playback errors. The sound is warm and detailed. I cleaned it on my VPI 16.5 with Tergi-Clean solution.
I would rate the cover G+. It has some writing on the front ‘76’ ? It has some age cracks but no splits or tears.
I grade conservatively using goldmine standards and have been trained in grading albums.
Shipping:
USPS Insured Priority Mail. I pack albums in an LP mailer with cardboard on both sides. Record is removed from sleeve to minimize wear.
