Description: 

Pretty high up there on Kiss collector scale - this is an original TEST PRESSING 2x LP of the Kiss “Greatest Kiss” hits collection from the Kissteria box set.  Test pressings are pressed up PRE-RELEASE for the band, label and select personnel to approve the audio on LP and make sure everything is sounding right, sequenced correctly, etc.  This particular test press was pressed up on May 5th, 2014.  Beyond this being pre-release of the official Greatest Kiss LP, this test pressing has an entirely different sequence with additional tracks from the official release - which means they took a number of these off in order to have a smaller tracklisting (see the tracklisting below).  This early iteration of the release had a total of 25 TRACKS while the later official release only had 16, total.  There were apparently only 1000 copies of the original official release which was part of the Kissteria Road Case (which has since been repressed on multicolored wax) - this is a much, much, MUCH more rare as there were probably 10-20 copies pressed in total, and this is also in FLAWLESS condition - and is the intended original.  Both discs appear unplayed, both generic jackets with catalog stickers are perfect.  See pictures for correct cat #s in the dead wax as well as Capitol master stampers. 

Certainly safe to say this won’t be popping up again anytime soon - I had one other copy which I've already sold - both were part of a large collection of test pressings that were all pristine.  Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I grade my LPs VERY conservatively and accurately under a bright light.  A description of the grading scale is below:
M: MINT - perfect.  vinyl is pristine / cover is flawless and/or sealed
M- : just under mint.  a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless
VG+: vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.
VG: vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape.  pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
VG-: vinyl / cover shows some relatively apparent age but is in overall good shape and still a fine copy to own / play.  
G+: vinyl shows some heavy wear but overall sounds decent.  cover has some flaws or shows much age
G: vinyl is in pretty rough shape visibly but plays ok.  cover shows a lot of age or has some major splits or tears.  
G-: vinyl looks / sounds pretty rough.  cover has major condition issues such as water damage, large rips, etc
*a double "+" or "-" indicates that the condition is just above or below the neighboring grade

All my records are packed tight and securely in custom LP mailers between two 12" cardboard pieces with the vinyl removed from the covers to preserve their condition during shipping.
- All domestic shipping is via either media mail at $6.99 or priority mail at $11.99.  Combined shipping for additional record is $1.00 per LP.
- International shipping starts at $21.99 + $1.99 for each additional record.
- Shipping to Canada is $16.50 + $1.50 for each additional record.
- Tracking and insurance can also be purchased at the discretion of the buyer.
- Items to be shipped within ten days of receipt of payment.
