Kraftwerk Autobahn LP UK 1st Vertigo Press SUPER AUDIO [Ex+/Ex-]

	£		40
	$		53

Description

An original 1st pressing of AUTOBAHN on UK Vertigo. Matrix 1/1. Etching 'Bilbo'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the white segments embossed/raised - as you find on the 1st issues. We also have an original generic white inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen lightest careful use. Under close inspection I an only make out a couple of very slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Super lustre. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A pretty much perfect player - you can forget going better. THIS is as good as I've EVER heard Autobahn. Nigh on perfect even into the quieter moments. At worst a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. And a couple of minor ticks in one isolated spot per side. An absolute humdinger. Very clean signalled.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and many original examples will not be looking this spritely after this passage of time. Lovely clean and unaged and unworn front. This is important because I tend to find a lot of copies have hidden or low level issues on those white panels on the front. The rear is down just a shade. The white sections are largely free of ageing. Just slightest discolouration at the very foot [1 c.m.]. There's also some foxing down in the bottom left corner too - but it is fairly well hidden. Still overall - a rather impressive example. A touch of edge wear running along the top. The spine exhibits just a bit of wear up at the top end. The text is still 90% legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
