Description
Here is a stock copy single by LaVern Baker: "Voodoo Voodoo" b/w "Hey, Memphis" (Atlantic 45-2119). Released in 1961. "Hey, Memphis" produced by Phil Spector. It is a clever answer song/cover of an Elvis Presley song, "Little Sister," with the lyrics modified. Song writing credits go to Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman.
Hard to find stock copy in beautiful condition. Just some minor wear on the "Hey, Memphis" label (see photo). No writing, stickers, or tears. Vinyl has high gloss. A few light paper scuffs and what appears to be minor juke wear on the "Hey, Memphis" side (which also explains the minor label wear). This is one of the finest copies I've seen in a while. There appears to be a very, very slight outer edge warp. So small it's barely noticeable and does not affect play.
Overall, VG+ condition. This is an original pressing, not a reproduction or reissue.
