Description
Led Zeppelin-Led Zeppelin 2 LP UK 1st pressing from 1969,Atlantic red/maroon label No.588 198.This is the rare 1st pressing
with Living Loving Wreck miscredit on the label, and also the Lemon Song credit as opposed to Killing Floor on the second pressing.
This is getting very hard to find these days.I used to see these quite often but when I sold my last one a good while ago I thought
I would get another soon as usual. Not so.Apart from a couple of trashed examples this is the 1st one I have found in a long time-I have
seen a good few of the 1st LP Turquoise in that time and would say these are harder to come by now for sure.
Condition is excellent overall. The original gatefold cover is clean and generally excellent;a little general ageing with some MINOR losses on the edges
and some ring wear on the rear cover are the only negatives.Otherwise excellent with the inner gatefold pretty much perfect. No writing, tears etc.on
any part of the cover and it still has the feel of a good cover-grades at VG+toEX-.
The vinyl is excellent.Pretty much perfect in normal light there are 1 or 2 tiny marks under artificial light but its minimal stuff.
The labels are clean with a tiny bit of spindle play that is hard to see.The disc has to grade EX. at the very least and is near to tops.
Overall an excellent example of this original pressing of one of rock's iconic LPs-Whole Lotta Love made its debut here!
