Description
LED ZEPPELIN I 1st U.S. Pressing 1969 ATLANTIC SD 8216.
First press due to AA lacquer and RG mastering (Rob Grennell, mastering engineer for Atlantic in the late 60s).
MO on label and circled "MR" in runout denotes Monarch pressing.
VINYL in VG+ with occasional pops and light crackle, play tested, light marks
on vinyl, writing on label side 2 (see photos).
COVER in VG with staining on back cover, spine solid and fully readable, top
seam has chipping /rubbing with paper lifting in middle (see photos). Bottom
seam solid with chipping starting in middle, corner wear.
INNER SLEEVE in VG+ correct era Atlantic Inner, seams split 1/2" on bottom
and side, yellowing/staining.
NOTES:
Track B5 time listed as 3:30 (on back cover), but actual time is 8:30.
Earliest pressings do not have the RIAA Gold Record Award sticker on front
