LED ZEPPELIN II LP 1970 UK PRESS RED/PLUM LABELS LEMON SONG/'WRECK' MISPRINTS. Livin Lovin Wreck is misprinted on the first issue which this is an example of. Also Lemon Song was renamed Killing Floor. On the first issue Lemon Song is on the sleeve and the label (see pics).
Record is in Very Good Minus condition only. Lots of surface marks and light scratches but no audible scratches except a lightly audible scratch on Moby Dick. No skips or sticks. The rest plays well with surface noise throughout. Ideal As A Rare Collection Filler, Even Though It Is Still A Pretty Good Playing Record, Just Not Quite Excellent Or Mint.
Cover is Good only because it has been sellotaped (since removed ) on bottom edge of rear gatefold with minor colour loss inside on bottom edge just to the right of the spine. Rest of the sleeve is rubbed at edges and corners.


One of the biggest Led Zep vinyl rarities - a 1st pressing of their 2nd LP with the 'Livin Lovin Wreck' error on the label which was only on the inital pressing run and quickly corrected on later pressings.

Disc has the earliest possible matrix numbers for this release (A2/B2) and also has the 'Lemon Song' mentioned on label & sleeve (later corrected to 'Killing Floor').

It comes in the 1st issue light brown gatefold sleeve (later issues were dark brown).

MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT:
Not quite perfect. The record shows some signs of having been played, may be slight chance of minor deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. There may be some audible surface noise on some tracks but it will not affect listening experience.
Normal wear and tear on the cover.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR:
The record is still just playable but it has not been cared for properly and displayed considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:
Technically playable but with serious deterioration in condition and sound quality.
The sleeve and cover will be badly damaged.

VERY POOR:
Absolutely unplayable. Will only be of use as a last resort to complete a collection.
