Led Zeppelin---"Led Zeppelin II"---Original UK 1st Contract (Pye?) Pressed Stereo Album In EX/VG+ Condition On The Contract Press Atlantic Red & Plum Label---Rare Contract Press Hand Etched A and B Matrices From 1969---With Lemon Song Credit And Extra Indentation Ring In Centre Of Each Side Label

This is a UK copy from 1969 in stereo on the contract pressed red and plum Atlantic label, cat. no. 588198 with hand etched matrices A and B.

Vinyl: EX. The vinyl is in nice condition with a good shine and quite a lot of light marks. It starts side 1 with 2 jumps on track 1 and 4 ticks on track 2. Then, the rest of side 1 is EX and side 2, although having a little light surface noise in quiet parts, plays EX+ and sounds great.

Labels: EX. The red/plum 1st press labels are in lovely clean and colourful condition with no markings. Both sides have the contract press extra indentation ring near the centre which isn't found on other copies of this one. Side 1, track 3 carries The Lemon Song credit. There is normal use spindle wear.

Sleeve: VG+. The gatefold sleeve is in very solid condition with heavy edge and corner wear. When opened, the inside is lovely and still has the vibrant original colours. The spine is also nice and firm and easily readable.

With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
