Description

Up for auction is a rare Led Zeppelin "LED ZEPPELIN II ORIGINAL 1969 ATLANTIC SD 8236 "RL" DOUBLE STAMP Gatefold Edition STA-A-691671PR". This is one of the rarest and highly collectible Led Zeppelin albums to locate and is all complete. It is the original pressing that is the "HOT MIX"  Robert Ludwig Double Stamp RL. It also features the Broadway address It was pulled by Atlantic due to cheap stereo equipment not able to handle the bass.

Any serious record collector orLed Zeppelin collector knows the true value of this record and edition and should not let it go for the price I am offering it at. You can check the value by googling Led Zeppelin II original Hot Mix LP or look at any Vinyl Price Guide.

The matrix number on side 1 is ST-A-691671-A P LW W AT RL.  The matrix on side 2 is ST-A-691672-A P LW AT RL Ss W.

COVER-The gatefold album cover is VG shape.On the front cover, on the top right, It has a small spot that someone peeled a price sticker off of it.  The corners and edges have some wear but overall are nice.There is a 1.25" seperation on bottom right of gatefold where the record is loaded into album. The back of the gatefold has light age stain in white and slight wear on corners.(See Photos) 

VINYL-The vinyl is in VG shape. The center band and spindle look very clean. On the vinyl It has a couple light scuffs and surface scratches but no gouges. Record could be rated higher if cleaned(Recommended) due to value!  I have not played the record due to not having a record player.

INSIDE GATEFOLD- VG. Has some age stains but in nice condition.

INNER SLEEVE-The Inner Sleeve is the original Alantic Records sleeve and is in VG+ shape.
