You are viewing an auction for Led Zeppelin "Led Zeppelin II" (Second Album) Atlantic Records SD 8236 stereo LP. This is the original, first, ultra-rare U.S. pressing from 1969 with 1841 Broadway address on the labels , mastered by legendary Robert (Bob) Ludwig.

The textured gatefold cover grades VG+ with slight shelf wear and very slight corner and spine wear. Cover has some yellow staining, probably from aging, but NO seam splits, NO writing, NO tears, NO stickers, NO water damage.

The vinyl is strong VG with some scuffs and a few needle marks, but NO deep marks. Dead wax (trail-off) has machine-stamped 'RL' and etched 'ss' on both sides. The matrix numbers end with 1A/1A. On some labels that denotes a very early, first pressing. This is thick, heavy vinyl pressing.

The record was play tested. Plays very good, NO skips, NO loud pops or clicks, but some surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade (nothing significant).

The labels are clean - unmarked and in NM- condition.

Comes with original "Atlantic Records" inner sleeve.

Grading is visual and based on the Goldmine standards: NM/NM-/VG+/VG/VG-/G. NM is my highest grade for an opened LP.

The album will be shipped in sturdy cardboard professional LP mailer in poly outer sleeve and w/bubble wrapping. The record is out of the cover to protect cover from a possible damage in transit.
