Description
This is an Auction for the fourth Lp by Led Zeppelin released in the Uk in 1971 on Atlantic records Catalogue number 2401012. This is an early press with the Red and Plumb labels and with A3 and B3 matrix numbers. The lp also has "Pecko Duck" and "Porky" written in the runout grooves.
The Vinyl is visually in Very Good+ condition with a nice sheen. It sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips or jumps. There is some light background noise and the very occasional static pop but on the whole this album was a pleasue to listen too. Overall i would grade the Audio as Very Good+.
The labels with the four symbols on them are in Excellent condition with some light spindle marks.
The Lp comes with its original double flipback inner sleeve which has some tape along the bottam and some creasing. The Lp will be sent in a new inner sleeve seperate from the main sleeve.
The original Matt gatefold sleeve has some storage wear to the spine, edges and corners and is a bit dirty on the rear but it is a first press sleeve. I would grade it as Very Good-

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
