Description
Hi All, I’ve sorted out a few more choice cuts in the collection for your consideration as well as a few ‘vinyl staples’ for the discerning new entrant to vinyl collecting. For your consideration we have:
Title: LET IT BLEED by THE ROLLING STONES
Cat No: SKL 5025 – STEREO
Issue: Boxed UK reissue on the blue DECCA label.
Vinyl Condition visual: EX; the vinyl has retained much of its gloss and sheen and is in very presentable shape. There are few, if any, very light scratches of note and only a few light handling marks. The disc on both sides is essentially very clean. Overall this is a very presentable copy of what is a truly wonderful piece of rock music and it is most worthy of the EX grade allocated.
Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as VG- ; the album plays back with some audible static, clicks, ticks or pops in places; for most part this is quite mild but it is present nonetheless. This does settle for large sections of the album and it is still a most enjoyable listen, the VG- grade is accurate.
Label Condition: EX; lovely clean and crisp labels, no unsightly marks or notable spindle marks at all and no writing or damage whatsoever to the labels. The matt blue labels and silver text are all vibrant and clear.
Cover Front: The front cover grades as EX; the laminated front is in pretty good overall shape. It is essentially very clean and has retained its shape well. The central image is clear and the lamination is for most part excellent with just some very mild creases in a few places and a little ring-wear is evident when cover is held to the light. A little bit of tiny sticker residue at top right (easily removable) and a few very mild/gentle bends in places. A very clean and damage free ‘Rolling Stones Poster’ sticker. Overall it’s a decent example of this sleeve.
Cover Back: VG; the unlaminated back is clean and essentially damage free. Just a few very light age related marks and minimal light rubbing in places and a little ring-wear is just starting to show. One slightly prominent bend bottom left and a small area of top layer lift near to the spine edge.
Spine: VG; the spine is intact, clean with good lamination cover. It has retained a good shape and the text is legible and clear, some evidence still shows of the pinched corners.
Corners: VG; mildly knocked and bumped. .
Opening Edge: Quite straight with some light bumps and dings from normal use. No splits or tears.
Inserts/Other: Original DECCA – LET IT BLEED LYRIC paper inner sleeve in VG condition. Original poster intact and in VG+ condition
Summary: Again another one that was a sheer joy to play and to listen to and I’m convinced that the new owner will be delighted with it. If you’re seeking a copy of this wonderful rock album with stickered sleeve, lyric insert inner and the poster you could do a lot worse than grabbing this copy whilst it’s available.
Postage: With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.
