This is the UK 1st press of ‘California Mudslide' by Lightning Hopkins. This press is complete with the earliest A-1/B-1 matrix and the original matt textured Upton Printing sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The heavy original vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves or obvious wear at all, there are just a couple of very light wispy marks. The Liberty labels are completely clean. The black is exceptionally bold and the text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Excellent clarity and separation, the original warm complete sound.
The textured sleeve is in Excellent condition. The white is extremely bright , the text is exceptionally sharp and the colours are rich and warm. The edges are still firm and there is just slight wear and a little ring wear. The whole sleeve is extremely solid.
