LITTLE RICHARD Here's Little Richard US R&B LP Specialty SP LP 100 Here is a true oddity. Firstly the cover has the original logo and catalogue number from 1957. The record, however, has a weird label that is half one style and half another, one from the 60's and one from the 70's. It says "stereo natural sound" usually denoting fake stereo so you would expect the pressing to date from the 60's Maybe its a later issue in an original cover? you might think, but all the re-channeled issues I've seen have the second catalogue number SP 2100, not SP 100. Furthermore, the vinyl is quite thick not like any 70's press. A true oddity in every respect.
Cover: VG+ , very clean overall but taped (almost invisibly) on the top and bottom Record Labels: VG+, a few spindle marks, pits in the pressing Disc: VG+ / VG , several light marks and scuffs, a few pits in the pressing, heavy vinyl Matrix: etched: SP LP 100 SIDE 1 / SP LP 100 SIDE 2
