LOOK! BEATLES ORIGINAL STEREO BUTCHER COVER (ST 2553) 3RD STATE

Today for sale is a Beatles Butcher Cover.  This is a stereo version (ST-2553) in 3rd state.  The trunk cover has been peeled off.  This has left some tears in the butcher cover.  This isn't the best peel job by far, but I've seen much worse.  There are horizontal glue residue lines that could probably be removed.  The RIAA number is 5.  Overall it displays nice.  I won't grade this one.  Please see the photos and see what you think for yourself.  The bottom seam was all of the way split, about half of the spine was split, and a small bit of the top seam was split.  However, these have all been repaired nicely with glue.  It appears that the cover was possibly exposed to moisture at one time.  It isn't exactly straight, but that could easily be repaired with pressure and there is no mold or mildew on it.  As for the back of the cover, it is bright and looks quite nice.  Also included is the original Capitol Records Gold Inner Sleeve and the 33 RPM record.  The record itself is probably a 3, but it doesn't look too bad.  Anyway the cover is what you want here.  STEREO COPIES OF THIS RECORD OUT NUMBER MONO COPIES BY AT LEAST 5 TO 1.  SOME SOURCES EVEN SAY AS MUCH AS 10 TO 1.  THIS COVER IS SO MUCH RARER THAN THE MONO VERSION.  THIS COVER IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER COVERS.  Don’t miss this ultra-rarity.  This is cheaper than any other third state stereo version that is currently being offered for sale on eBay.  Just type in "beatles butcher stereo" here on eBay and you'll see that all of the "Buy It Now" offers are at least $200 more than this one!  I made the price low for a quick sale!  Also, included will be a color reproduction of the recall letter issued by Capitol Records.  What’s the good in having a 2nd state Butcher Cover?  You can’t even see the Butcher Cover.  This set needs no work to see the Butcher Cover.  It has already been peeled.  The cover and the reproduction letter are ready to be framed and displayed.  IF YOU USE THE “BUY IT NOW” PRICE, YOU WILL RECEIVE FREE USPS PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING WITH INSURANCE AND SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION.  Go ahead and make an offer right now!  Thank you very much for looking and enjoy your new Butcher Cover.

My Grading Scale for the cover:

10 (Sealed) The cover is sealed and assumed to be stone mint.

9 (Mint) The cover is not sealed, but is flawless.

8 (Near Mint) The cover is near flawless, but may show some slight wear. The cover will have no seam splits.

7 (Near Mint-) The cover will very close to an 8, but might show the slightest bit more wear and some visible age discoloration.

6 (Very Good+) The cover will be very close to a 7, but may show some increased discoloration, soft corners, and fragile seams. No seam splits are allowed.

5 (Very Good) The cover will have all conditions from a 6, but will show some seam splits. None of the splits will be longer than 2 inches long. Most records will fall under this category and this is considered to be collectible.

4 (Very Good-) The cover may begin to show moderate seam splitting, moderate discoloration, soft corners, and possibly a “loose spine” where the spine is no longer tight and may begin to crack soon.

3 (Good) The cover will have all conditions from a 4, but may show more damage to the spine and even more seam splitting.

2 (Fair) The cover will be very worn and damaged.  The front and back will hardly be connected from all of the seam and spine splitting.

1 (Poor) The cover will be very damaged and will have all conditions from a 2, but they will be more pronounced.  Also, severe water damage will be included in this category.

My Grading Scale for the record:

10 (Sealed) The record is sealed and is assumed to be stone mint.

9 (Mint) The record is flawless in every way.  It appears to have just been purchased from the record shop.

8 (Near Mint) The record is near flawless, but might show some slight wear and soft scuffs from a paper sleeve.

7 (Near Mint-) The record will be very close to near mint, but might show a bit more wear and scuffing.

6 (Very Good+) The record will be very close to a 7, but may show a superficial scratch or two.  The play will not be affected.

5 (Very Good) The record will show some increased scratching, but should still play fine.

4 (Very Good-) The record will show scratching and may click a bit when it is played.  It will not skip.

3 (Good) This record will show heavy wear and moderate scratching.  It may play with a quick skip or two.

2 (Fair) This record is badly damaged.  It show extreme wear and scratching.  The record is played with a risk of damaging the stylus.  It may skip in multiple places.

1 (Poor) The record is unplayable.  It may skip many times and/or stick.  

SHIPPING

I try to ship quickly. I usually ship USPS Priority Mail. I only ship to the continental 48 United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and I do not ship to P.O. boxes.  I am offering three different shipping options.  The first is USPS Media Mail ($3.00).  An important note on Media Mail is that it DOES NOT INCLUDE INSURANCE OR SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION.  I highly recommend that you use these services, but I wanted to offer an economical shipping service because I understand that the next service is rather expensive.  However, understand that I do not make a profit on shipping.  The next service is USPS Priority Mail ($12.00).  It does include insurance and signature confirmation.  If you want your record fast, you can use USPS Express Mail ($30.00).  It also includes insurance and signature confirmation.  Remember that the "Buy It Now" feature includes FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance and signature confirmation.   

PAYMENT

First of all, I only accept PayPal for payment. It is just easier and safer than any other way, sorry but no exceptions.

TERMS OF SALE

Only expect to receive the items pictured/described. If the item is not fully paid for within 48 hours of the auction closed, the item will be relisted. There are exceptions to this. If you would contact me within those 48 hours and explain to me when you can pay, then we can wait a while longer. However, I WILL NOT hold an item for you for more than 10 days. Now the question of returns comes up. I do accept returns within 14 days, but no later. If you return an item please send me a message stating what the problem is. You can then send the item back to me. After I receive the item, I will examine it closely to see the condition and make sure that it is the same item that I sent. A refund will then be issued if it passes my inspection. This is simply a hobby so I do not want to cheat anybody to make a quick buck. Satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.

The record will be shipped in a fresh, clean, and new paper sleeve to prevent seam splitting and damage to the picture or original sleeve if it is included. It will also protect the record itself.
