I bought this LP in May 1973, right after it came out. Not played very much.
Cover - Gatefold, so no shrink wrap. As soon as I removed the shrink I kept it in a large plastic sleeve. Still clean and white. Barely shows any shelving evidence, thanks to the plastic cover (which is included).
Vinyl - No scratches, shiny.
Sleeve - Original, with lyrics printed on it. One corner crease. Not torn, no writing.
Insert - David Bowie Fan Club Application Blank. Intact, one folded piece of paper. This does have a crease on the front page. Starts top center, ends just above his left shoulder. Some other small wrinkles at end of front page. Part of the consequence of keeping it in the Cover, and opening it.

Several real rockers here. Bowie and Ronson make full use of excellent recording equipment. Great version of “Let’s Spend The Night Together.” Not sure, but I think at a Spiders From Mars concert, Bowie introduced “Jean Genie” as “a song for Iggy.” Iggy was part of the Detroit scene, so maybe we can read Iggy into some of these songs.
