Over all this rare and highly collectible item comes in very nice condition !!

Beschreibung:
Eulenspygel waren 1971 eine der ersten Gruppen in Deutschland, die es wagten, von englischsprachigen auf deutschsprachige Stücke umzusteigen. Diese Sprache war damals allein dem Schlager vorbehalten, und so hatte man verständlicherweise Bedenken, in dessen seichte Nähe gerückt zu werden. Doch der Versuch glückte, wie man auf ihrem Erstlingswerk "Eulenspygel 2" hören kann, damals als erste Platte auf Spiegelei erschienen."2" hieß sie deshalb, weil die besetzungsgleiche Vorläufergruppe Royal Servants 1970 bereits die LP "We" herausgebracht hatte. Nach dem Umstieg auf deutsche Stücke nannte man sich dann folgerichtig nach Till Eulenspiegel in Eulenspygel um, um Gesellschaft und Staat mit klugen und aufrüttelnden Fragen den Spiegel vorzuhalten.
