TITLE: Lucifer Rising

LABEL: Boleskine House Records

This offering is for the very rare numbered (#354 of 1000) limited edition, 45 rpm, 12" extended-play album by Jimmy Page. Issued in 1987, this private label (Boleskine House Records) of Carmichael, California, contains 23 minutes of instrumental soundtrack music originally recorded by Page in 1972 and 1973 for the movie of the same name. The movie was based on the works of Aleister Crowley and directed by the English director Kenneth Anger. Due to a dispute between Anger and Page, Page’s music was dropped and the subsequent official soundtrack release substituted music composed by Bobby Beausoleil, a member of the infamous Manson family. This EP contains the original music by Jimmy Page. If you have any questions regarding this item, please email before bidding.
