Stone the Crows – Ode to John Law – German Original – Polydor 2425 042– 1970 – Blues Rock
Second album of the band with the impressive singer Maggi Bell. It is really nice to listen to this music. A must have for your record collection.

Optically, the record looks very good with light hairlines on it.
Overall, the record plays very good. But as not unusual for such an old record, there are mild clicks and crackling on the intros, the endings and in between the songs. There are mild clicks hearable during the quiet passages of the record. Occasionally, a few harder clicks are audible. However, they are not too disturbing.
The cover (non-gatefold) looks very good. However, the front cover has some folds around its borders. While the lamination of the cover front looks very good, the lamination on the back of the cover is detached (but still intact) over a narrow strip close to the spine. See also my photographs.
